USP Begins with Focus

Walt Goshert has written a terrific piece about creating a Unique Selling Proposition.  Without it, there is no way to develop truely effective marketing.  The one point I would add to his comment is the need to begin the process of developing a USP with Focus, Focus, Focus.

For a more detailed look at how important I believe this is, check out my May 24th post on how to double your sales.

    Lorraine,

Thanks for the comment on my blog… and link and mention here.

You’re right. It does require a FOCUS on attracting your Ideal Client.

All too many times, we as small business owners, think that our products/services are for everyone. Not true.

Our products/services simply are not the best fit, the best value for all, and there are clients that we simply don’t want.

    Less is more.

Focus on a niche market with a marketing message honed precisely to their pain and desires.
