I do not know everything I need to know.   I am not even sure I really understand where my skill gaps are.  As a result I am on a path of continuous learning. A path I think every small business owner needs to be on if they want to be  successful. I am avid reader, articles, blogs posts, and books.   Here are just a few of the resources I have found recently:

Books:

Groundswell – It’s a book by two Forrester analysts with practical, data-based strategies for companies that want to harness the power of social technologies like blogs, social networks, and YouTube. Featuring 25 full case studies, a complete road map for social strategy, and data from around the world. Learn more about the book, download an excerpt, or see our reviews.

The Long Tail: Why the Future of Business is Selling Less of More – Written by Chris Anderson, of Wired Magazine, the book is filled with statistics, examples, and a slightly offbeat sense of humor.

Blogs -

I love my Google Reader, so I can capture feeds from my favorite sources.  Here are just a few of the many feeds I try to read each day.

Chris Brogan -  Writes about social media and technology and how to use them to build digital relationships for businesses, organizations, and individuals.

HarvardBusiness.org – Well written articles by a wide range of authors

How to Change the World - Authored Guy Kawasaki -A practical blog for impractical people.
