I’ve Been Working On The Railroad…

Written by Neil Chaggar For the past three days… or so it feels that way on my fourth day of the internship here at Roundpeg. Hello everyone, this is Narinder (Neil) Chaggar, the new internet marketing intern at Roundpeg. The ride has just begun with couple of creative assignments, though the pace is just right because of the necessity to learn all the new programs and tools around here. At this time, I’m full of both excitement and many questions as to what will come next. So far, I’ve done everything from joining social media websites such as Twitter and Smaller Indiana to helping...

Roundpeg Website Redesign – The Final Chapter

by Jay Mattingly Well, ladies and gentlemen, it’s come to this. After months of research, hard work, and dedication, we’ve finally finished our overhaul of the Roundpeg website. First of all, I can’t thank everyone enough for their input on what they thought works, and more importantly, what they thought didn’t work. We went through four redesign rounds and people continuously gave positive, constructive feedback. The redesign wouldn’t have been possible without you. We learned a lot along the way, we made some mistakes-well, at least I did-but in the end, it was worth it to be...

Social Media at Any Age

I am getting ready for a presentation on social media to a group of “senior” execs (senior because they are older than I am).  I was chosen because the meeting planner thought they would relate to me better than a “twenty something”. Mistakes are Like Sand Castles

Staring at the ocean, watching the waves inch their way toward a sand castle I realized, the internet is like the ocean. It moves on its own, while some things will hold it back, for awhile, sooner or later it erodes the barriers which hold it back and continues its path. It is filled with life, and new organisms’ spring up all the time, while others die and are recycled into the ecosystem. And sandcastles on the beach are like mistakes. Obviously out of place on the flat sand, they catch your attention, but if they are built too close to the water, in a day or so they have been washed...

Are You There? It’s Me, Melinda

Written by (you guessed it!) Melinda Cooper. Hello! I am the new (and overly enthused) public relations/marketing intern for Roundpeg. It’s going to be a fun time here, I can already tell (based on Clyde the cat alone). I want to know about YOU – your business and how I can help you achieve even more. And… oh alright, here are some random facts about me (in case you care) I’m pushing 30 (and it’s pushing back). I have a husband and two cats. I went to Ball State (Go Cards!). I’ve never met David Letterman but have made my own Top 10 list on more than one...
