Another Friday, another round of #FF’s on Twitter.  These endless lists of names sometimes introduce me to people I should follow, but without an explanation of who they are, I typically skip the lists and simply thank those who #FF me. Then I read this blog post by Chris Brogan, about how to create really productive results from your #FF posts, and I have a whole new attitude about Follow Friday. The Power of Social Media

A few weeks ago,  the Roundpeg crew attended the first  Indy Social Media Happy Hour. It was a fantastic event put on by Will Hardison of Mediaplug, the Team from BlogIndiana and Scott Wise of Scotty’s Brewhouse. The event gave us the opportunity to witness the true power of social media in our everyday lives. I Hate Cold Calls – But I Make Them Anyway!

I have always hated cold calling.  Now that I am enrolled in a  sales training program through TrustPointe, I still hate cold calling, but I understand it is something, as a small business owner,  I need to do from time to time.
