Intern Drew Willis gives us an update on his second week at the ‘peg.

Wrapping up my second week at Roundpeg, I’m happy to report that I’m settling in well. In just a few days, I’ve already learned to use several awesome software programs that make our lives at Roundpeg easier. From using the Yoast WordPress plug-in for SEO to learning the basics of email marketing with ConstantContact, to even learning the ins and outs of WordPress, I feel like I’ve done a bit of everything. Ask the Roundpeg crew how I slayed the largest spider ever to set all eight hairy legs in the office. It’s truly a story they will tell their children!

Speaking of stories, one of my favorite things about my time here so far is the passion and commitment everyone has for what they do. I believe that everyone has a story, and sometimes we need a little help sharing that story. This is one of the reasons I’m enjoying my experience at  Roundpeg. We’re here to tell your story, whether that be through web design, graphic design, copywriting, or marketing. The clients I’ve had a chance to interact with so far have been incredibly enthusiastic about what they do, and that shows in the work we’ve done for them.

It’s been exciting for me to be able to work in an environment where results can be tangibly measured, and also where results have a positive effect on other people. I’ve had a lot of information thrown at me so far, and more passwords than I’ll ever be able to keep track of, but it’s good to transform book learning into real world results, and I’ve really liked the variety and challenge of my assignments so far.

I’ve had a great introduction to life at the ‘peg, and I’m looking forward to many more in the next few months!
